Nostalgia (Butterfly Oddquain)

Nostalgia

...but
the garden
of thoughts kept moaning,
those breaths no longer warmed the
breeze.
Thus, awake the mind's remains.
Barren, tracing steps,
rose with the,
ash.



** oddquain butterflies - a “merged mirror oddquain” where the two stanzas of a mirror oddquain are merged together, one of the middle 1 syllable lines is dropped, resulting in one nine line stanza of the form 1-3-5-7-1-7-5-3-1.  Please note that a oddquain butterfly is not a “oddquain” because it doesn’t have five lines...

Illiteracy

Upon reality,
folded,
flashback defying senses,
and supposedly,
sentimental legacy,
consuming.

Longing,  for
phrases uttering phrases,
risen,
a mess of heart's pages,
torn not,
in the mind's back.


Therefor,
the rosy thoughts
tried to adhere,
as no space
in a language,
the colors run away from,

and for such man,
geography of the logic
ought to metamorphose,
literally,
seeking out

a possible culture.
